Commission
Over the years we have sold numerous books and libraries on commission. If a collection is too large to purchase (value or quantitiy) this tool can be very useful – both , for the seller and us. With this method of selling the seller is only providing the books and we market them. We prepare them for the internet, sell them ship them and do all the paperwork – the seller, his name and the origin of the books are not presented to the public. A monthly quote of the sales will be provided by us. Sometimes we prepare the books for the sale at their place of origin and the seller is only responsible for the shipping – this guarantees a mutual beneficial agreement for both sides of the trade.
The method of selling per commission guarantees the seller of a valuable library a sale at about 50-60% of the market – value and differs from the normal sale where a bookdealer usually can not pay more then 30% of the estimated marketprice.
